Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, the soccer pitch became my second home. My early years playing recreational soccer at the South Dekalb YMCA Jaguars, under my dad's guidance helped lay the the foundation for my passion and commitment to the sport. For thirteen years, I honed my skills there, learning not just the techniques of the game but also the values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance that would serve me both on and off the field.

As my soccer journey unfolded, I made the transition to the Decatur-Dekalb YMCA Wolves academy team. This shift allowed me to elevate my game by playing at a higher level, a step that ultimately led to my selection for both the Olympic Development Program Team (ODP) and the Southern Region ODP team. These experiences within ODP presented an exciting opportunity, guiding me to train at the renowned Portuguese soccer club, Sporting Lisbon. Concluding my youth soccer career, I spent two pivotal years at Heritage High School, where I left my mark as one of the top five all-time leading scorers. Simultaneously, I continued my development at the Concorde Fire Soccer Club Developmental Academy. 

The culmination of these efforts resulted from various college coaches and programs. This led to me to offer to play at the University of Central Florida (UCF) before transferring to California State University, Northridge (CSUN). I found myself excelling not only on the soccer field but also in the classroom at CSUN. There, I laid the foundation for my future by earning a bachelor's degree in communications and starting the pursuit of a master's degree in recreation, tourism, and management before signing a professional contract.

After signing a professional contract with Hartford Athletic, my soccer journey took an exciting turn. This was a dream come true, and the experience of playing at a high level further deepened my love for the game. Following my time at Hartford Athletic, I continued to share my passion for soccer by playing for Southern States Soccer Club in the NPSL and Flower City Union in the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA).

Taking a step back from playing on the field, my soccer journey has evolved into coaching. My primary aim now is to share my expertise, experiences, and insights to nurture the talents of our next generation, as they represent the future of the sport. In May 2023, I founded Actively Chasing Excellence Soccer Academy, a venture dedicated to fostering personal growth on and off the field. Underpinning our academy is a commitment to the same core values that have guided me throughout my soccer career: excellence, community, leadership, and a genuine passion for the game.
